Commander Of Weather
The Commander of Weather is the caretaker of the [Weather Rod] which resides in [Weather Mountain]. The Commander of Weather is weather master chosen by a Guardian, (usually a [Glorandor] guardian) and bound by mandamus to the weather rod. This bound allows the weather master complete control of the rod no matter where they are.
The Commander of Weather is responsible for the global weather template. They make adjustments as appropriate and work with other weather masters throughout the world to maintain the balance of Mendala's weather patterns, tides, and ecosystems. Though the Commander of Weather does not "control" other weather masters, they can override them and, if necessary, punish them, for misusing their abilities.
The Commander of Weather and Weather Mountain fall under the loose jurisdiction of the Fantasmal Government. The Fantasma assigns staff to the Commander of Weather but usually does not monitor or interfere with the day-to-day workings of the mountain.
The Commander of Weather is considered a very high rank in Mendalian society and as such commands the same amount of respect as a king or other leader.
