Creatures
Creatures is a term that refers to both monsters and animals. Spiritual scholars loosely define a creature as a living being without a soul. Scientists loosely classify a creature as a living being without adimus. On Earth creatures would fall under the "Animal" (Aninamlia) kingdom.
The main difference between monsters and animals is that monsters posses almost the same level of sentience as a person. Animals act almost purely on instinct. In addition animals on Mendala are by there very nature docile creatures and never attack people unless under summoner control. Monsters can and will attack a person and cannot be controlled by summoners.
