The Name is Bond... Mike is extremely laid back. He is one of the few members of the Fantasmal Fighters who doesn't seem particularly bothered by the dangerous quest they're undertaking. He is extremely cavalier and doesn't take too many things seriously. He jsut takes life as it comes. He is best friends with Ace Eastman and William Jenkins; together the trio are known by their friends as the "three muskateers." The quickening accident transports Mike 5 years into the past. For the first few years, he wandered aimlessly from city to city, searching for his friends and learning as much as he could. Then, a series of unexpected twists landed him a position in SAM, the Special Agents of Mendala, an agency under the Fantasmal Government that handels criminals that cross national boundaries. The A&A Club members are transported to Mendala. Mike ends up 5 years in the past. The last 2 years he was an agent of SAM. The reasons behind his induction into this elite organization were not explained. - Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return; Chapter 26
Mike is given the Z157, a special trench coat designed in Acumen to anticipate the owner's needs, just before he joins Daniel and Jandor. - Quest of the Seal Bearers - Book 1: The Warriors Return; Chapter 30,33
Mike, Jandor, and Daniel are captured by a group known as HONOR (the ironic acronym for the Heinous Organization of Notorious Outlaws and Rouges) because the leader, Don Divens, wants the Z157.
