MoonsMendala has three moons, Selen, Normenia, and Enex each on a different orbital path. Though Mendalians have not yet advanced to the point of space travel, scientists have been able to observe the celestial bodies. It appears that each moon is composed primarily of quartz. Studies show that the quartz in each moon is different from moon to moon but not like anything found on Mendala. SelenIts name means "of the heavens." This is the original moon of Mendala, which, according to many ancient texts, has been in orbit around Mendala forever. However some spiritual texts suggest that Selen appeared in orbit around Mendala when the the first epouranal mages were chosen in . In the sky, Selen is pale blue. NormeniaIt's name means , "Elohim's Promise" Normenia carries great historical and spiritual significance because its appearance in the sky marks the day when the first Fantasma was chosen and [Ester Fantas] was made the Daughter Of The Sun. It is said in the epouranal texts that Normenia's appearance is a constant reminder of Elohim's promise to the Ester Fantas and her line which may explain why it appears bright yellow, like a glowing sun in the night sky. Normenia's appearance, the appointment of the first Fantasma, and the rise of the Daughter of Sun all marked the first year of the TS Era. Enex"Death Bringer" This blood-red moon appeared at the end of TS era in 39,733 TS (the last year of the TS era). It was through the actions of [Multus] that this moon appeared in the sky, bringing forth the first and only recorded [Tempteston], also known as a"Death Night," a supernatural phenomenon that caused the entire sky to go completely black. This unexplainable event was what killed Jazmin Lowens, the current Daughter of the Sun. According to spiritual scholars this death had been foretold in prophetic texts: "and the one who brings unending war will call forth the omen of blood to the sky for all to see. The sun will not shine, and its daughter will fall." This is the only known time that a Daughter of the Sun died of anything other than natural causes. The death night ended just as suddenly as it started, three days later, with the appearance of Normenia. Since then, Enex has remained in the sky, an ominous omen of the war and death that are prevalent throughout the TA era.
