The Perfect One?
Regarded by her friends as "the perfect one" Stephanie is somewhat of an enigma. At school she was the epitome of popularity, beautiful, stylish, and always in the latest fashions. She was a member of almost every circle, a cheerleader, class president, editor of the school player, and first chair in the school orchestra's flute section; not to mention a straight 'A' student. Who would have guessed that this clean cut, fashion forward, model student, spent her weekends in mud-covered boots and overalls, traipsing through the woods behind her neighborhood.
Her love for the outdoors and the unknown made her a perfect candidate for the Action and Adventure Club and she joined it a lttle less than a year after it was formed. Stephanie is never one to shy away from a challenge or even a little bit of danger. Though her teammates know her well, it's still jarring for them to see their seemingly prim and proper friend wearing ripped jeans and a baggy t-shirt as she bungee jumps from a bridge.
The Summoner
Stephanie brings her flute, her favorite instrument, with her when the A&A Club heads for the Island of Adventure. However, when the group is detoured to Mendala, Stephenie and her flute are transported over 7 months into the past. She finds herself in a large mountain inhabited by a small group of elves and humans who assume she came to learn the art of summoning. Lost and confused, Stephanie accepted their offer to let her live with them and trained to be a [summoner]. Because of her skill with the flute, she was able to pick up the basics easily, but before long, the present caught up with her and Davron's forces raided the mountain in order to find her. Though the caretakers of the mountain managed to flee, Stephanie was trapped and almost captured but Jandor, Daniel, and Terri arrived just in time to save her.
Though she is still training, Stephanie's summoner skills are invaluable to the group. Not only is she capable of talking to animals and making them do her bidding, she also has the ability to gain certain animal abilities, such as heightened senses and enhanced speed. Stephanie is also handy with javelins and fighting staves. Though the adventure of Mendala is fraught with danger, Stephanie is still just as carefree as if she were back in Greengale, traipsing through the woods.
