Eras

Mendalian history is currently divided into three eras, PM, TS, and TA:

PM – Priori Mandamus; Before Mandamus
This refers to the approximately 20,000 years before mandamus came into existence. Because the PM era is not adequately documented, its years run backwards, so that 1 PM is the last year of the era. The only reason why it is an established fact that the PM era was approximately 20,000 years is that mentus came into existence 19,121 PM according to the Clock of Mandoria, which means that arrival of the first Mendalians could not be too far before that.

TS – Terrius Sunn; In the Years of the Sun
“In the Years of the Sun” refers to the years when the Daughters of the Sun were on Mendala. This is the 39,733 years between the time mandamus, the Fantasma, and the Daughter of the Sun were introduced to Mendala and the year when the Book of War was opened.

TA – Terrius Argonon; In the Years of War
This refers to the 10,000 years between the time the Book of War was first opened and the return of the Daughter of the Sun to Mendala.

Most likely the return of the Daughter of the Sun will mark the beginning of a new era but only time will tell.
